At Mary Meyer School, our residencies bring magic and inspiration right into the schoolhouse, giving children new ways to explore, create, and express themselves while complementing our play-based curriculum.
Studio Artist
Little hands mix colors, shape materials, and bring ideas to life with guidance from our talented Studio Artist. Each project sparks creativity, self-expression, and the joy of making something uniquely their own.
Theater Residency
Children act out stories, transform into characters, and perform small scenes with a visiting theater professional. Through dramatic play, they laugh, imagine, and build confidence, language, and cooperation.
Music Residency
Each Fall and again in the Spring, Susan Salidor, a magical songwriter, singer and performing artist, joins Mary Meyer School students weekly. Singing, instruments, and movement inspire children to explore rhythm, sound, and shared creativity. Each session delights the senses and encourages joyful musical expression.
Yoga Residency
Gentle breathing, stretching, and mindfulness help children feel calm, centered, and grounded. These small moments of focus support both body and mind while fostering curiosity and calm.
