e are glad that you are considering applying to Mary Meyer School! The application process is meant to allow you to get to know our school and philosophy and for us to get to know you and the things that are important to you in your child's school.

Updated: December 6, 2011: Due to recent changes, we now anticipate having a couple openings in the Morning Class in addition to the many openings in the Afternoon Class for the 2012-13 school year. We are now accepting applications for both classes until February 1, 2012. Please feel free to call us at any time with questions about the school or to schedule a visit. We hope to hear from you!

September - February Request a brochure and application be mailed to your home. Just give us a call!

Attend a Prospective Parent Meeting. This meeting, held in the evenings during the fall and winter, will allow you to hear more about our program, see our school and classroom space and meet current Mary Meyer School parents. You can attend this meeting before or after submitting an application and is not a required part of the process (though it is recommended). Since we only have room for a limited amount of people in each meeting, reservations are required. This meeting is for parents only.
February 1, 2012 Submit an application for admission and pay the $35 application fee. This application can be submitted at any time between September and February. Please call us to discuss possible vacancies if you are applying after February 1.
January – February, 2012 Attend a Classroom Visit. This visit is a required part of the process and takes place after you have submitted an application for admission. You will have the opportunity to observe a class in session to observe the activities, teachers and rhythms of the day. Parents of applicants to the morning class will visit from 9:00 - 9:35am and parents of applicants to the afternoon class will visit from 1:00 - 1:35pm. Your host during this time will be a current Mary Meyer School parent who is happy to answer any questions you may have. This visit is for parents only.
Late March, 2012 Admission decisions mailed. We will consider your child for admission to Mary Meyer School once all of the parts of the process have been completed. We are a small school and must wait to hear from our current students about their plans for returning before announcing admission decisions for new students. If you are offered admission, you will have two weeks to let us know your decision, and if applicable, return to us a signed contract and $1,500 deposit. Admission decisions will continue after April as space becomes available.
